and although it was marvellous, it is also good to be back. working away on my little glenn gould song, plus the ice dance score, not to mention ordering the album and fussing with mixes, and two gigs this week! on thursday night i’ll do a few songs at the mint website launch at the main, and on friday we bid a sad farewell to ida nilsen who is moving to toronto. their gain, our loss. but a great party at the railway, i’m sure.

it is nice to see our cat again. maybe i’ll get a picture of him up soon. we have a new camera, in case you hadn’t noticed. Continue reading and leap

ok so! yesterday, august 1st, the life support packages were mailed out. i know i said july, but i was just one day late. i had plans to write personal notes with all the packages, but after signing cds, drawing covers, burning copies, addressing envelopes, and making ribbons, i had nothing left.

and here are pictures of the epic ribbon making! most of the parts were cut out at the studio while mixing, but here we are putting the final touches on. that’s me drawing little birds. and my friend sir fake-injuring her hand while stamping envelopes. and the ribbons themselves. they’re all in the air right now, finding you.

in other news, weston has confirmed that the problem with the shopping carts on this site is now fixed. so shop away! and now i am going on holidays. back in a few weeks, happy august to you all. Continue reading life supported
