life supported
ok so! yesterday, august 1st, the life support packages were mailed out. i know i said july, but i was just one day late. i had plans to write personal notes with all the packages, but after signing cds, drawing covers, burning copies, addressing envelopes, and making ribbons, i had nothing left.
and here are pictures of the epic ribbon making! most of the parts were cut out at the studio while mixing, but here we are putting the final touches on. that’s me drawing little birds. and my friend sir fake-injuring her hand while stamping envelopes. and the ribbons themselves. they’re all in the air right now, finding you.
in other news, weston has confirmed that the problem with the shopping carts on this site is now fixed. so shop away! and now i am going on holidays. back in a few weeks, happy august to you all.

You’re right, Veda, The Fits are, um, really silly. Also an awful lot of fun. It’s very hard not to burst out laughing at “Sodomy” whilst listening to it at work.

It’s not like the Veda we know and love today, but, alas, the lyricism is so there. It’s extra cool knowing where you are coming from.
Field Study live is about as flawless as an album can get (really, Veda, that should be another official album).
