july

hello pals. i swear i’ve been updating this site in my head, at least. we’re getting ready for the vancouver folk fest. i’ve put together a bunch of new songs for choir and band. early listeners have compared it to the new muppet movie, so i’m happy with that. also in my tradition of never doing the same thing twice any freaking more, i have a mystery new project called Karate Theatre of Earth, which will be performing at the powell street festival. a mystery because we haven’t figured it out yet. fresh! i should be very laid back at the trout forest festival, which will be a relief. and then craigslist all fall and winter in various locales. i wish i could be more rambly with you right now, and meander on about the almost summer and the beautiful fish dinner i’m going to make, but jeezus time is of the essence and i need to go buy some parsley.

summertime activity

hey ho. just updated the shows page here onsite. i’m going to Ear Falls, Ontario! come on, that’s exciting. plus i will turn another age there. 44, i think. also, craigslist cantata will be touring around metro vancouver this fall, and hitting toronto in feb next year. i’m going to haul the whole family to that cold cold town, all in the name of Musical Theatre. the Peter Panties record is almost finished over at JC/DC studios, and boy do i love this record. fall release, if the vinyl gods move fast enough.

which reminds me, i’ve been meaning to ask: who out there would buy my records on vinyl? my household has gone back to it quite happily. i’ve also been toying with the crazy idea of a complete vh box set; the whole catalogue on vinyl records. do you want it? or should i just make one set for my husband? let me know your vinyl standpoint. please.
