well gang, i have to say that rehearsals for the return of the Craigslist Cantata are going swimmingly. laughing my head off and singing my guts out, etc. first show this monday. all dates listed here. including whitehorse! at last i return to whitehorse.

in other news, we had a little computer glitch here at Hille Enterprises and i just found out this morning that there was a huge backlog of cd orders. i have dispatched them, but apologies to all those who sent in orders at the beginning of september. no doubt you feel well acquainted with the void.

and lastly, it seems my star has finally risen: i am the subject of a Trivial Pursuits question. i am speechless, grateful, and proudly trivial. see you on games night.

this is me and ami (*gladstone, director and pal extraordinaire) getting down to it on craigslist cantata dramaturgical meetings. looks like fun, right? he’s so tall. that’s what makes it fun. so that’s what’s happening now, peoples. a metro vancouver tour, leading into a possible northern stop (tba), and then Winter In Toronto. other news: Peter Panties is finished, and we’re sending it to press in about a week. so i’d say that means a late october release. VINYL. SO COOL. more stuff is happening, rest assured. but really what’s happening is that the air has changed and it’s september and it’s the best, as always. the air is full of promise and in dreams i am meeting fascinating flying people. wish me luck, and i wish it to you.
