a sociable week

i’m happy to say that berlin has turned back the seasonal clock, and it is a warm fall here again. just in time for a very busy week: wednesday night in munich at the bayerischer hof, thursday night in berlin at lagari, and saturday night in bremen at ratsaal stuhr. i’m looking forward to being out of the house. i’m particularly excited about the berlin show, where i have rallied my friends reimar servas, josepha conrad and tim knillman to do a rough sing through of the new musical Peter Panties, currently in process with the leaky heaven circus. these are brave people, coming along for the ride.

  1. Thanks so much for the wonderful show at the Ratsaal yesterday! Got home safely, asleep in the backseat.

  2. Veda, Big Thanks from me and Mary too – a lovely gig. For anyone else interested we were a respectful audience – we eventually got to doing a bit of whooping – and we were treated to a setlist that ranged over so many albums – including a good sprinkling from Spine – and also some new songs written during the Berlin stay. The set seemed to cover Life, Love, Death and everything (and of course UFO’s and cannibalism etc 🙂 ). Veda it was a great pleasure tio hear you play and to meet you – as well as meeting Carmen and Ide (spelling?) and enthusiastic German locals who had never heard of you before. Excellent sound too at the Ratsaal Stuhr. Thanks again Veda for a great night!

  3. So, Mrs. Veda Hille, when are we going to learn more about Young Sainte-Marie?

I mean, advertising is they key ;-). Is there any tracklist available?

I read somewhere (gotta love google alerts) you will perform some David Bowie covers at your Vancouver shows in December… will these songs be on your album?

    Gah! Too many questions!

You take care and enjoy your last days in Germany,

    Raff

  4. …thankyouthankyouthankyou, veda!!
