Meanwhile a tiny bit of news is that one writer in the UK magazine the Wire made This Riot Life their album of the year – and I am unfeasibly pleased/proud because that writer is Clive Bell – and it was me who told him he should listen to this person Veda Hille. Sadly one writers’ top pick was not enough to get the album into the Wire top 50 of the year (with pictures) so the listing is pretty buried in text – but its there!
