Here is a picture (1998)

A song cycle about the life of Emily Carr (1871-1945), a Canadian painter. Commissioned by Mascall Dance as the score for their choreography “The Brutal Telling”. All the lyrics on the record were taken (quite liberally) from Ms. Carr’s journals, letters, and published writings. Cover paintings by Stephanie Aitken.
