i’ve been having great rehearsals with the bank dogs for the upcoming peter panties show at the push festival. it’s awesome being in a band with teenagers when you’re a 40 year old mom. i can still rock it. as long as i’m sitting down. you might want to get your tickets for that show soon, btw. at the link previous. and go see a bunch of other push shows too: floating, 100% vancouver, daniel barrow, nervous system system, bro gilbert, gloria’s cause, my show happy birthday teenage city…it’s going to be a busy winter.

oh, and don’t forget the DOXA fundraiser on nov 19th! i’ll be playing music with archival vancouver films, plus mr. bill richardson will be talking at you.

well, i have to say i had a darn good time guesting with the lovely Dan Mangan at the Vogue last night. so i’m going to drop in again on saturday, after i guest with the unstoppable Hard Rubber Orchestra at the Milton and Fei Wong Theatre. just call me Guesty.

forgot to mention that i’m playing at fuse tonight, at the vancouver art gallery at 8pm. other people on are alex mackenzie! neworld theatre! bank dogs! and the amazing installation by artist song dong.
