Right. A couple of tantalising options for the British tour:
1). We have a couple of gazebos we can rig up in my garden, we could wheel out our upright piano (I tuned it myself, not very well) and I can get some support acts (friends who've played birthday parties at the village hall, and my next door neighbour's daughter who's just recorded 4 songs and has a great voice. They've also got a mellotron which you could probably have a go on). Everyone welcome, BYOB. Alternatively:
2) A friend who has a Challen grand piano shoehorned into his dining room. We could gather in his garden and peer at you through a window (2 tiers if some of us sit on his kids' trampoline). It's a nice house, there's a tunnel to the church opposite where, according to local legend, escaped German prisoners of war used to hide during the Great War.
You'll need to bring your own elephants though, that was the deal from last year.

Well, when I see threads like this, I think to myself: "oh, people are finally getting it".

Veda's music rocks. She deserves all the compliments and all the attention she can get. Her music is that good. Canada should be proud. And Veda should be a super star (well, she is:-)).

Her music is, in a way, so simple and so damn melodic and arty...

Excellent songwriter with a very beautiful and special voice, and a great sense of aesthetics.

I understand why Spine is the first album to get people's attention (I think the same happened to me), but, when you get to know her work well, and you listen very carefully to her more subtle albums, it's nearly impossible to choose.

I think I have a weakness for Field Study, and You Do Not Live In This World Alone, but I really can't pick a favourite album.

Okay, enough of being a mad fan for today:-). Just get her face on the CAN$ 100 bill, and let's be done with it ;-).

Yay Europe! I'll be on the lookout for cool Dutch venues with the daring sense.

Meanwhile, enjoy this mesmorizing Bedlam! experience:

Berlin people and I can't complain about life. It'd be great if you could go to the UK also.

Let's hope it works out in the end...

it looks like there will be a couple of shows in berlin, and maybe a couple in bremen. the uk is looking unlikely (so sorry, uk) but at least i will have lots of time to write. which is very exciting.

Oh, those are some BAD news.

I was hoping to see you perform in Berlin.

Maybe, something good will show up.
